Barbara Engstrom

Barbara Engstrom has over four decades of experience in the business world. Barbara began their career in 1972 as an Operations and District Supervisor at various banks. In 1992, they joined Prowest Appraisal as a Business Partner and Consultant, where they were a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in San Diego. In this role, they appraised a variety of commercial, industrial, retail, and residential properties for estate and tax planning, bankruptcy, divorce, date of death, gifting, expert witness, eminent domain, right of way, lending, and more. Barbara also served as a Partner and Principal of the firm, specializing in commercial, income, retail, industrial, and residential properties. In 2014, they became the Executive Director of Band of Hands, where they used their decades of experience in banking, marketing, operations, supervision, and customer service to hire over 1,000 people for full and part-time work in district operations of nine large branches. Barbara also wrote training and procedures manuals, applying their common sense approach to many business environments.

Barbara Engstrom has been involved in Real Estate since 1977, taking courses at various approved vendors until 2009.
