Sophia Salazar

Sophia Salazar is an Environmental Scientist at Banda Group International, LLC, with experience as a Laboratory Animal Sciences Technician III at Lovelace Biomedical Research Institute. They also worked as a Field Technician at Geo Systems Analysis, conducting river monitoring tasks. Sophia has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a focus on Environmental Science from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. Their previous roles include being a Student Research Assistant in Biology/Ecology and a Student Engineer at ENERGETIC MATERIALS RESEARCH & TEST CENTER. They have also conducted research on amphibian behavior at their university and participated in atmospheric physics research at Arecibo Observatory.
