David Solsky

David Solsky is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sustainability, energy, and finance. Currently serving as Operating Partner at Bandera Capital since March 2024, David focuses on impactful venture capital and private equity investments. As a Board Member at RELA since March 2023, David contributes to Australia’s renewable energy platform. Previously, David held the position of VP of Sustainability Solutions at IBM from January 2022 to February 2024, leading sustainability software initiatives following Envizi's acquisition. As CEO and Co-Founder of Envizi from 2008 to 2022, David established a global leader in sustainability software for the built environment. David’s early career includes co-founding Databank Technologies and Total Recall Technologies, along with a foundational role at Coopers & Lybrand as a Senior Accountant. David holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from the University of New South Wales and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
