Chris Transier

Chris Transier is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. As Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Bandera Group since April 2021, Chris has been instrumental in leading the organization. Additionally, Chris serves as a Board Member for WeldFit, which focuses on enhancing pipeline productivity while adhering to ESG standards. Before this, Chris co-founded Fortis Minerals, where leadership from April 2016 to March 2021 resulted in the establishment of a leading mineral and royalty business in North America. Previous roles include EVP and Chief Financial Officer at Escondido Resources II, LLC, and Vice President at First Reserve Corporation, as well as an analyst position at UBS Investment Bank. Chris Transier holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Virginia.
