Deepanwita Dey

Deepanwita Dey has had a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Starting in 2003, they worked as a Freelance Educator until 2006. Deepanwita then moved on to ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Limited, where they served as a Financial Planning Advisor and later as a Consultant Trainer & Financial Planning Advisor until 2008. From 2008 to 2010, Deepanwita worked at Aviva Life Insurance as a Training Manager in various areas such as Agency, Bancassurance, and D2C. In 2010, they joined Aegon Life as a Channel Development Manager - D2C and later progressed to roles such as Manager, Senior Manager, and Assistant Vice President in Product Development & Management. Since 2021, Deepanwita has held the position of Vice President & Head - Product Management at Aegon Life.

Deepanwita Dey completed a Certification in Disruptive Strategy from Harvard Business School Online in 2020. In the same year, they also obtained a Post Graduation in Product Management from Amity University.

Prior to that, they pursued their education in the field of Biotechnology. From 1997 to 2001, Deepanwita served as a CSIR Senior Research Fellow at All India Institute of Medical Sciences. Before that, they completed their Master of Technology in Biotechnology from the same institute from 1995 to 1997. Deepanwita began their academic journey with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Sri Venkateswara College, Delhi University, which they earned from 1992 to 1995.

Furthermore, Deepanwita completed their CBSE education from Lady Irwin School, New Delhi, between 1980 and 1992.

Apart from their formal education, Deepanwita also holds various certifications, including Certification in Digital Marketing from the Insurance Institute of India, Certification in Driving Innovation through Design Thinking from KNOLSKAPE, and a Leadership Development Program from AEGON Asia. Deepanwita has also obtained certifications in topics such as Creating Successful New Products, Deliver Impactful Presentations, and Regulatory Training, among others.
