Vishwanath Prasad Singh

Vishwanath Prasad Singh is the current director at Bandhan Financial Services Pvt. Ltd. Vishwanath has also previously worked as the chairman and managing director at IFCI Ltd from September 2001 to February 2004, where they were responsible for restructuring the oldest development financing institution in India. Vishwanath has also set up a new Assets Reconstruction Company after getting a license from Reserve Bank of India and headed the same. In addition, they have also served as the chairman of Tourism Finance Corporation of India and Chairman of the Governing Board of Management Development Institute. From September 1998 to September 2001, they were the executive director at IDBI Bank where they were responsible for financing of infrastructure projects, corporate restructuring, merchant banking and advisory services, development and monitoring of associate institutions comprising a Mutual Fund, a Commercial Bank, National Stock Exchange, National Depository, Capital Market Services and Technical and Industrial Consultancy Organisations.

Vishwanath Prasad Singh has a degree in institutional and financial restructuring from the Arther D Little Institute of Management. Vishwanath also has a degree in banking from the Indian Institute of Bankers, and a bachelor's degree in commercial and labour laws from Bihar University. Finally, they have a master's degree in advance accounting and business management from Patna University.
