Michael Kjeldsen

Michael Kjeldsen is an experienced geotechnical design management professional currently serving as Team Leader at Banedanmark since November 2025. Prior to this role, Michael was a geotechnical specialist and project manager at Sweco from September 2022 to November 2025 and held the position of Senior Consultant at Ramboll from November 2017 to September 2022. Michael began his career as a Project Manager and Geotechnical Engineer at Geo from November 2012 to August 2017, where responsibilities included overseeing laboratory test production for significant construction projects and offshore wind farms. An early engineering internship at HS Hansen in 2008 involved assisting with facade design for Nykredit’s head office. Michael’s academic background includes a Master of Science in Engineering with a focus on Technical Geology from Aarhus University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Structural and Civil Engineering from the Engineering College of Aarhus.
