Niels Tougaard

Niels Tougaard is a seasoned project manager with extensive experience in various roles across the IT and telecommunications sectors. Currently serving as a Project Manager at Banedanmark since January 2017, Niels manages projects in DK Construction East, Interlocking & Remote management. Previous experience includes owning N.J. Tougaard Konsult, providing IT and project management consultancy from 2007 to 2016, and freelance project management roles at Atos IT Solutions and IBM Danmark, where implementation of IT systems for major clients was a key focus. Niels has also held managerial positions at Ericsson, overseeing product management, marketing, and sales functions. Niels holds a B.Sc. in Automation and Software from Aarhus Teknikum, earned between 1979 and 1983.
