Mitchell Kogut

Mitchell Kogut is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in cybersecurity and network engineering. Currently serving as the Lead Security Engineer at Bangor Savings Bank since March 2016, Mitchell oversees the Security Engineering group, ensuring the efficient operation of various information security systems. Previously, roles included Senior Network Engineer at both Martin's Point Health Care and Eastern Maine Healthcare Systems, where Mitchell managed large-scale network infrastructures and implemented statewide VPN solutions. Early career positions included Audio/Video Engineer and Systems Support Specialist, demonstrating a solid foundation in technical support and systems maintenance. Mitchell holds a Master’s Degree in Cybersecurity from Southern New Hampshire University, a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Maine at Augusta, and an Associate's Degree in Computer Networking Technology from Eastern Maine Technical College.
