David McKiernan

David McKiernan has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. David started their career as a Field Service Engineer at Avery Berkel in 1993, where they were responsible for the installation and maintenance of garage forecourt equipment. In 1995, they joined Stanley Security Solutions as a Field Service Engineer, specializing in time and attendance systems, CCTV, hospital paging, and door-access system installation and maintenance. David then transitioned to the role of an IT Engineer at NHS Trust in 2000, where they worked until 2004. Currently, they serve as the Chief Specialist Design and Build Technician at Bangor University, a position they have held since November 2006.

David McKiernan has a Bachelor's Degree in BSc (Honours) Computing, IT and Design from The Open University, which they obtained from 2009 to 2017. David also has a HND in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Blackpool and The Fylde College, completed from 1992 to 1993. In addition, they hold a HNC in Electronics Engineering from Gwynedd Technical College, obtained between 1990 and 1992. Prior to this, they earned an OND in Electrical, Electronic and Telecommunications Engineering from the same college, from 1987 to 1989. David McKiernan attended Ysgol Gyfun Llangefni from 1983 to 1987 and St. Edmund Campion High School in Lea, Preston from 1981 to 1983.
