Melinda Atencio

Melinda Atencio has extensive experience in IT with a career spanning from 2002 to the present. Currently serving as Gerente de Ingenieria de TI at Banistmo since August 2008, Melinda leads the implementation of quality practices and continuous delivery in IT, ensuring value delivery to the business through software engineering, DevOps, and cloud technologies. Previous roles at Banistmo include IT Specialist - Team Lead of the Platform Management Service Department, where responsibilities included daily operations management and incident resolution, and IT Specialist focused on server migration projects. Prior experience includes serving as a Data Analyst at Star Contact LTD, where database administration and report design were key responsibilities, and as an Analyst Developer for Tommy Hilfiger Panama, specializing in Visual Basic development. Melinda holds a Master's degree in Technology Administration from Universidad Latinoamericana de Ciencias y Tecnologia and a Licentiate degree in Systems Engineering from Universidad Tecnológica de Panamá.
