Wafa' Khalid

Wafa' Khalid is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in the banking sector. Currently serving as the Director and Head of Financial Institutions and Foreign Affairs at Bank al Etihad since September 2024, Wafa' previously held the position of Vice President and Area Head of Financial Institutions at Arab Bank from February 2020 to December 2024. Prior to this role, Wafa' was the FI Senior Relationship Manager from May 2009 to January 2020, where responsibilities included global relationship management, credit analysis, business development, and managing syndication loans. Wafa' began a career at Arab Bank Group as a Business HR Relationship Manager in Finance from 2005 to 2008. Wafa' holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Accounting from Yarmouk University, earned between 1996 and 2000.
