Divya Krishnan

Divya Krishnan has a diverse range of work experience, primarily in communications and marketing roles. Divya currently serves as the Internal Communications Lead at Bank Australia since October 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Victorian Health Promotion Foundation (VicHealth) as a Social Media Lead from March 2021 to September 2023, where they oversaw the social strategy and promoted health and wellbeing. Divya also co-founded Shakti Melbourne, a non-profit organization focused on empowering young South Asians to openly discuss mental health, from June 2018 to March 2021. Divya has experience in media and marketing as a Media and Marketing Officer at Monash University's Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences from May 2018 to March 2021. Divya has previously worked as a Communications Officer at the Cancer Council Victoria, an Administration and Communications Officer at the Consumers Federation of Australia, and an Administrative Assistant Customer Service at Good Super. Divya has also been involved in various roles at Monash University, including as a Student Representative/Executive Committee Member for the Health Science Degree, Communications Officer for the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, and as an Ambassador. Additionally, Divya has held roles as an Examination Marker at Pearson - Assessment & Instruction and as a Research Intern at Alfred Hospital.

Divya Krishnan completed their Bachelor of Health Science (Honours) degree in Health Services/Allied Health/Health Sciences, General at Monash University from 2012 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their Year 12 education at the Australian International School of Singapore from 2009 to 2011. In 2012, they obtained the Working With Children's Check certification from the Australian Government.
