Anna Frankowska is a retired partner of Weil, Gotshal & Manges, a leading New York-based international law firm, where she co-headed the capital markets department. After graduating from St. Louis University in 1987 , she earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois College of Law Champaign-Urbana. Anna worked at a leading law firm in Chicago. She returned to Warsaw In 1994, she started working as an advisor to guarantors and issuers of numerous offers of public equity and debt instruments of Polish companies.
Anna , for many years has been recognized in international legal rankings as one of the leading lawyers in Poland in the area of capital and debt market, M&A, corporate law as well as banking and finance. In 2018, the jury organized under the Polish Lawyers Association and the Rzeczpospolita daily awarded her the honorary title of the "Lawyer of the Thirties" as one of the best experts who played a key role in the development of the legal profession and made a significant contribution to the transformation of the economic system in Poland after 1989 .
After leaving Weil in early 2019, Anna acts as a board member of a foundation supporting victims of church pedophilia. He is also a member of the Advisory Board of the Precedent Affairs Program of the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights.
