Tim Carfi is a senior executive and deputy treasury chief of treasury operations and CEO of GE Capital Working Capital Solutions (WCS).

Tim took over as head of the treasury in January 2021 and is responsible for global treasury operations, trade finance and banking relations. WCS is a global company that provides receivables factoring and supply chain financing services to GE industrial companies and affiliates. He has held this position since October 2013.

From 2008 to 2013, he was the President and CEO of GE Capital Bank, an industrial bank incorporated in the state of Utah and regulated by the state of Utah and the FDIC. During this time, Tim was accountable to an external board of directors, led strategy and relationships with regulators, and built a team of approximately 200 people responsible for $ 24 billion in assets, $ 16 billion in deposits, and the launch of an online depository platform that was subsequently sold Goldman Sachs.

From 2002 to 2008, Tim was the chief financial officer and capital market leader of US Equipment Finance, an equipment leasing and lending company with over $ 40 billion in assets in North America. In addition to being Chief Financial Officer, Tim led the Pricing, Asset Management Strategy and Capital Markets divisions, which included GE's first third-party securitization platforms for U.S. equipment and corporate aircraft.

Tim joined GE in 1991 as part of a financial management program and has held increasingly responsible positions in the finance divisions of GEC Corporate, GE Capital Commercial Direct, GE Mortgage Insurance and GE Commercial Equipment Financing.

Tim holds a BA in Finance and Accounting from Siena College.
