Byeungchun Kwon

Byeungchun Kwon is a Senior Data Scientist at the Bank for International Settlements since June 2015, specializing in financial data processing application development, econometric modeling, and high-performance computing. Prior experience includes roles as an Information Technology System Administrator and Data Analyst at the Bank of Korea from July 2010 to May 2015, focused on developing economic modeling and simulation software, and as an Application Architect at Korean Air from January 2006 to October 2009, where responsibilities included administering the flight scheduling system. Byeungchun Kwon is pursuing a Master's degree in International and Monetary Economics at the University of Basel, with previous academic achievements including a Ph.D. and Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from Seoul National University of Science and Technology, alongside a Bachelor's degree in the same field.
