Sukhvir Notra

Sukhvir Notra is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in cybersecurity and information security. Currently serving as a Senior AI Specialist at the Bank for International Settlements since October 2020, Sukhvir Notra focuses on onboarding AI technology, particularly in implementing approximately 70 AI use cases. Prior to this, Sukhvir Notra was a Senior Cyber Security Manager at the Cyber Resilience Coordination Centre, leading global outreach projects for 63 member central banks. From January 2015 to October 2020, Sukhvir Notra commanded the Cyber Incident Response Team at the Department of Defence, managing a skilled team responding to threats from rogue actors. Earlier roles included Project Manager for ship maintenance under the Commonwealth of Australia and as a Weapons Electrical Engineering Officer. Sukhvir Notra holds a Master's degree in Cyber Security - Advanced Tradecraft and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering, both from UNSW.
