Cynthia Weisser

Cynthia Weisser has extensive experience in the banking and credit union industry. Cynthia is currently the Vice President of Mortgage Lending at Bank-Fund Staff Federal Credit Union, where they play a key role in strategic planning and development of lending programs. Cynthia also oversees the hedging strategy for the credit union's secondary market function.

Prior to their current position, Cynthia worked at Sandy Spring Bank as the Assistant Mortgage Operations Manager, AVP. In this role, they supported the Vice President of Mortgage Operations and focused on underwriting, ensuring efficient loan processing and employee performance.

Before joining Sandy Spring Bank, Cynthia held multiple roles at PenFed Credit Union. As the Director of Secondary Marketing/Loan Delivery, they were responsible for driving loan sales and supervising a team. Cynthia also served as the National Underwriting Manager, overseeing mortgage underwriting and collaborating with other departments on technical solutions. Cynthia's previous positions at PenFed Credit Union include Senior Underwriter, Third-Party Originations, and Supervisor, First Mortgage Trust.
