Maria Eugenia Garcia-Lopez has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Maria Eugenia started their career at the University of Maryland as a Customer Service Representative. Maria Eugenia then moved on to work as a Marketing Coordinator at the Embassy of Uruguay, where they coordinated trade shows and managed marketing materials.

Maria Eugenia later joined the World Bank as a Marketing Consultant, where they directed the development and execution of marketing campaigns. After that, they worked at the IDB-IIC Federal Credit Union as the Vice President of Marketing & Member Services, overseeing member services, marketing, and external relations.

Maria then served as the Chief Operating Officer at the IDB-IIC FCU, before becoming the Vice President of Marketing and Member Experience at the Bank-Fund Staff Federal Credit Union. In this role, they directed the strategy, sales, and operations of Member Services, and was responsible for driving overall sales and service for the Credit Union.

Maria Eugenia Garcia-Lopez completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business Administration & Finance from the University of Maryland, which they obtained from 1996 to 1999. Maria Eugenia later pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Strategic Marketing at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), which they achieved from 2003 to 2005. In addition to their academic qualifications, they obtained the Designation of Certified Chief Executive (CCE) from CUES in May 2012. So, their education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration & Finance from the University of Maryland, a Master's degree in Strategic Marketing from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, and the certification of CCE from CUES.
