Jacek Wawrzyniewicz, Ph.D., is an expert in the banking and finance sector with extensive experience in corporate risk operations and debt restructuring. Currently serving as an Expert at Bankowy Fundusz Gwarancyjny in the Resolution Department since March 2018, Wawrzyniewicz previously held significant leadership positions, including Director of Corporate Risk Operations at Alior Bank S.A. and Bank BPH, where responsibilities encompassed managing large teams, overseeing credit portfolio risks, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. With a career spanning multiple banks, Wawrzyniewicz also has a strong academic background, holding a Doctorate in Economics from the University of Warsaw, alongside further education at the University of Bern and SGH Warsaw School of Economics.
