Waqas Sheikh

Waqas Sheikh is an accomplished banking professional with extensive experience in the financial sector. Currently serving as the Vice President and Branch Manager at BankIslami Pakistan Limited since September 2019, Waqas is responsible for overseeing operational aspects, identifying sales opportunities, and managing budgets while fostering personnel development. Previously, Waqas held the position of Branch Manager at Bank Alfalah Limited from January 2006 to September 2019, focusing on the overall management of branch deposits, advances, and profitability portfolios. Waqas also served as Chief Manager at Allied Bank Limited from 1994 to 2005, managing the corporate branch in Karachi. Waqas holds an MBA from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad, obtained in 1992.
