Hamad al Balushi

Hamad Al Balushi is an experienced banking professional with a strong background in corporate banking. Since March 2017, Hamad has served as the Head of Special Assets at Bank Muscat, overseeing large corporate banking. Additionally, Hamad held the role of Head of Corporate Banking for both Meethaq and Kuwait, focusing on the development and management of corporate banking operations in those regions. Prior experience includes leading large corporate banking at Alizz Islamic Bank from July 2013 to January 2017, and driving corporate banking initiatives at HSBC from January 1999 to June 2013, where responsibilities included managing relationships with large corporate and government clients, providing cash management solutions, and serving as Senior Relationship Manager. Hamad holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Strathclyde and a Bachelor of Commerce from Wilson College, Mumbai.
