Hendra Kurniawan

Hendra Kurniawan is currently the Director at NobuBank. Prior to this, they were with Prudential Indonesia as the Head of Sharia Operations from April 2020 to October 2021. In this role, they were responsible for carrying out Sharia budget and expense control and monitoring, Sharia coordination with other departments, day-to-day Sharia operations, developing team's capability and competency, and carrying out governance and risk functions.

From October 2018 to April 2020, Hendra was with PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (Persero) as the Subject Matter Expert for Sharia Business Training. In this role, they were responsible for conducting training on Sharia compliance for all employees of the company.

Hendra has a wealth of experience in Sharia compliance and operations, which makes him well-suited for their current role as Director at NobuBank.

Hendra Kurniawan has a Master's degree in Business, Management, and Marketing from Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB) and a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Communication and General from Universitas Indonesia (UI). Hendra Kurniawan is also certified from LOMA in LOMA 291 and LOMA 281, AASI Indonesia in Basic Islamic Insurance, Badan Sertifikasi Manajemen Risiko Indonesia in Global Association of Risk Professionals Level 3, Iqtishad in Pembiayaan Sindikasi Syariah, Iqtishod Consulting in Musyarakah Mutanaqisah (MMQ) Schemes for Infrastructure Financing, and International Chamber of Commerce in Bank Payment Obligation and Structured Trade Finance.
