Mohammed al Hashmi

Mohammed Al Hashmi is a seasoned professional in compliance and regulatory roles, currently holding the position of Chief Compliance Officer at Bank Nizwa since February 2016, where responsibilities have included serving as Head of Compliance and Senior Manager of Regulatory Compliance and Corporate Governance. Prior to this, Mohammed served as a Senior Banks Examiner at the Central Bank of Oman from February 2010 to February 2016 and as Supervisor 1 Accounts at Oman Air from May 2009 to February 2010. Educational qualifications include pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration at the University of Liverpool, an MSc in Financial Management from The University of Manchester, and a BSc in Accounting from Sultan Qaboos University. Additionally, Mohammed is a Professional Member of the International Compliance Association and is currently studying for ACCA.
