Elif Bilgi Zapparoli

Elif Bilgi Zapparoli is the current Co-Head of Global Capital Market at Bank of America. Prior to this, they were the Founder and Chairman of EFG Istanbul Securities from November 2001 to June 2010. EFG Istanbul Securities is a boutique investment bank and broker dealer that served international institutional clients and Turkish national champions. From November 1998 to July 2001, they were the Chief Executive Officer of Iktisat Securities, which is the securities arm of the Turkish bank Iktisat. From August 1994 to November 1998, they worked as an Associate at Goldman Sachs in Fixed Income Derivatives. Elif also worked as a Summer Consultant at McKinsey & Company in the insurance sector from June 1993 to August 1993. Prior to Goldman Sachs, they worked as an Analyst in Mergers and Acquisitions at Morgan Stanley from August 1989 to July 1992.

Elif Bilgi Zapparoli attended Harvard Business School, where they earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA). Elif also holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics and International Relations from Brown University. Elif Bilgi Zapparoli spent their junior year abroad studying Economics at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
