Gary Howe

Co-Head of Americas Financial Institutions Group at Bank of America

Gary Howe is currently the Co-Head of Americas Financial Institutions Group at Bank of America. Prior to this role, Gary served as the Managing Director and Head of Financial Institutions North America at Lazard from July 2011 to October 2019. Before their time at Lazard, Gary was the Managing Director and Co-Head of Financial Institutions Americas at UBS from October 2005 to July 2011.

Gary began their career in financial services at Credit Suisse in March 1996, where they served as a managing director until October 2005. In September 1994, Gary started as an associate at JP Morgan in the equity derivatives division of their financial services group. Gary began their professional career at Deloitte in January 1989 as an audit manager.

Gary Howe has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The Wharton School, a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Management Information Systems and Services from the University of Cape Town, and a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Accounting and Management Information Systems from the University of Cape Town. Gary is also a Chartered Accountant (South Africa).
