Praveen Mitta

Praveen Mitta is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in the financial services sector, currently serving as Senior Vice President of FICC Technology at Bank of America since March 2017. Previously, Praveen held the position of Global Head of Development for Post Trade Processing at GFI Group from July 2001 to December 2016, where significant contributions included architecting global trade maintenance systems and implementing an enterprise service bus for streamlined trade processing. Earlier roles spanned various titles at Merrill Lynch and Pershing, focusing on systems architecture and operations. Praveen holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from New Jersey Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Osmania University.
