Sharad Kumar

Sharad Kumar is an experienced technology professional in the financial services sector, currently serving as Managing Director and Global Head of Securities Lending Technology at Bank of America since September 2017. Previously, Sharad held the position of Director at Bank of America, as well as Director of Global Head of various technology functions at Barclays Investment Bank from April 2005 to September 2017, including roles related to Equity Synthetics and Cash Equity technologies. Early in the career, Sharad worked as a Solution Architect at Oracle Financial Services Software Ltd from 1997 to 2005, focusing on capital market projects. Sharad obtained a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication from the National Institute of Technology Warangal, graduating in 1997.
