Melanie Miles

Melanie Miles is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in risk governance and communication. Currently, Melanie serves as the Director of Risk Governance and Learning at the Bank of Canada, a position held since March 2015, following roles including Senior Manager of Security Risk Oversight and Policy and multiple analyst positions in enterprise risk and information technology. Prior experience includes working as a Writer/Editor in Corporate Communications at CBC/Radio-Canada and as a Technical Writer at the Bank of Canada. Melanie's earlier career features editing at Library and Archives Canada, part-time professorship at Algonquin College, and information development at Nortel Networks and Consultronics Ltd.
