Michael Swanson

Michael Swanson has a diverse work experience in the finance and compliance sector. Michael began their career as a Sanctions Investigator at the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) in 1997. Michael later served as an OFAC Attaché and then worked as an Assistant Director, supervising OFAC sanctions investigations. In 2014, they joined HSBC as the Head of Sanctions for Latin America and Mexico. After leaving HSBC in 2017, they took a sabbatical and returned to work in 2019 as a Senior Vice President at the Bank of China.
