Rakesh D'Souza

Rakesh D'Souza has extensive work experience in the banking sector. Rakesh currently holds the position of Head of M&A and Leveraged Finance EMEA at Bank of China, a role they began in January 2022. Previously, they worked as a Senior Director at AIB from September 2006 to February 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Associate at Allied Irish Banks GB from September 2003 to May 2006. At Allied Irish Banks GB, they were responsible for arranging senior loans for UK mid-market companies, with a focus on industries such as healthcare, waste management, leisure, and hotels.

Rakesh D'souza attended the University of Hertfordshire from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained a degree in International Economics. Rakesh'sstudies included a focus on Chinese Economy and Business, Japanese Economy, and Econometrics. Additionally, they pursued studies in Financial Management at ACCA, specializing in Accounting and Finance.
