Rafael Constantinou

Rafael Constantinou is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in back-end and full-stack development. Currently serving as a Senior Back End Engineer at Jinius and a Senior Backend Engineer and Backend Chapter Lead at Bank of Cyprus since April 2021, Rafael has demonstrated leadership and technical expertise in software architecture. At TRG Research and Development from January 2020 to March 2021, Rafael successfully led a core team in transforming software components towards an Event-Driven architecture. Previous roles include Chief Senior Full Stack Software Developer at CyRIC, where Rafael oversaw software development and EU project supervision, and notable contributions as a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Research Fellow focused on user behavior analysis in web security. Rafael also has a background in IT consulting and research, with a master's degree in Data Science from the University of Glasgow and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Cyprus.
