Roger Phillips has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Roger began their career as a Sound and Recording Engineer, working freelance from 1981 to 1987. After that, they worked as an Account Executive at Williams & Associates, where they obtained their series 6 and 63 security licenses and assisted clients in developing financial plans. Following this, they joined Troy & Nichols as a Loan Officer, originating mortgage loans and establishing relationships with real estate professionals and building contractors.
In 1993, Phillips co-founded InterSouth Mortgage, a successful mortgage company in Alabama where they pioneered the development of CBA's with Real Estate and Building companies. After selling the company in 1997, they joined JPMorgan Chase Bank as a Wholesale Account Executive, responsible for client development in Alabama and Mississippi and achieved the top jumbo AE position in the Southeast region.
Phillips then joined Flagstar Bank Home Loans in 1998, where they served as a Vice President/Area Sales Manager for the states of Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Arkansas, and Louisiana. In this role, they played a key role in client development, training, and recruitment. Roger'stenure with Flagstar Bank lasted until 2014, during which they contributed significantly to their business channels and systems.
Currently, they hold the position of Southeastern Senior Vice President and Director of Business Development at Bank of England Mortgage. Roger'sresponsibilities in this role include adding new branches across the Southeastern US, developing strategic opportunities for sales growth, and managing client relationships. Roger'sleadership is considered vital for fulfilling the company's vision.
Roger Phillips attended Vestavia Hills High School from 1974 to 1977, where they studied Business and Personal/Financial Services Marketing Operations. Following high school, they pursued further education at Belmont University from 1979 to 1981. At Belmont University, Roger specialized in Recording and Music Business.
