Duncan Mackinnon is the Executive Director of Supervisory Risk Specialists at the Bank of England. Duncan has over 19 years of experience in the financial services industry.

Duncan Mackinnon started their career in 2000 as an Insolvency Specialist at the Investors Compensation Scheme. Duncan then moved to the Financial Services Compensation Scheme in 2001, where they worked as a Pre Default Manager for 14 years. In 2015, Duncan Mackinnon joined The Consulting Consortium as an Associate Director. Duncan held this position for 18 months before joining the Bank of England in October 2016.

Duncan Mackinnon studied at The University of Auckland, where they obtained their bachelors and law degree. Duncan then went on to study at The Open University, where they obtained their Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree.
