Jakob Schedlbauer

Jakob Schedlbauer is currently the Lead Policy Analyst at the Bank of England, a position held since September 2021, following previous roles as an Economist and a Post Graduate Intern in Banking Policy. With a solid background in banking policy, Schedlbauer has engaged in independent research and supported policy proposals through analytical work. Prior experience includes an internship in Global Liquidity Management at Deutsche Bank and a working student position at Osram Opto Semiconductors. Schedlbauer holds a PhD in Economics from UCL, a Master’s Degree from the London School of Economics, and a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of St.Gallen, complemented by time at Harvard University.
