Jamie Barber

Jamie Barber has extensive experience in the financial regulatory sector, currently serving as Deputy Agent for the South West at the Bank of England since July 2013, where responsibilities include governance and remuneration policy. Previous roles at the Bank of England include Technical Specialist in the Prudential Policy Department and Policy Evaluation Advisor for the Independent Evaluation Office. Jamie Barber also worked as a Policy Advisor at HM Treasury, focusing on legislation related to the Special Resolution Regime, and held several positions at the Financial Services Authority, including supervision of overseas banks and financial crime risk. Jamie Barber holds an Executive Master of Public Administration from The London School of Economics and Political Science and a Bachelor’s degree in History and Economics from the University of York.
