Kelly Thorneycroft

Kelly Thorneycroft is an experienced finance professional currently serving as a Specialist Financial Risk at the Bank of England since January 2024, focusing on investment banking and sector risks. Previously, Kelly held the position of Director of Structured Credit at Standard Chartered Bank from June 2022 to November 2023, and prior to that, held multiple roles at UBS Investment Bank between January 2013 and March 2022, including Director of Legacy Structured Credit and Associate Director of ABS & Structured Credit. Kelly's earlier experience includes summer internships at UBS and RBS Markets and International Banking, providing a strong foundation in fixed income and structured credit. Kelly holds a Master's Degree in Natural Sciences from University College London and has a background in project management from a role at UCL, where Kelly led the design and implementation of a training module for undergraduates.
