Raza Rehman

Raza Rehman serves as a Senior Supervisor for European Banks and Climate Lead in International Banks Supervision at the Bank of England, contributing expertise in climate risk, artificial intelligence, and governance and risk management policy engagement since October 2020. Previously, Raza worked as a Lead Policy Analyst focusing on LIBOR transition and began a career at HM Treasury as a Policy Advisor for Foreign Exchange Reserves, where responsibilities included policy and economic analysis alongside EU Exit contingency planning. Raza also gained experience as a Summer Analyst at HSBC Global Banking and Markets and as a Student Economist at HM Treasury. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Development Economics from SOAS University of London and a BSc in Economics from the University of Bath.
