Richard G Brown

Richard G Brown is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in the blockchain and financial sectors. Currently serving as the Founding CTO and Advisor to the CEO at R3 since 2015, Richard has been instrumental in the design and development of the Corda platform and the commercial launch of the Conclave privacy platform. Concurrently, Richard provides strategic consultancy services at Gendal Ltd and is a member of the Bank of England's CBDC Technology Forum. Prior to R3, Richard held various roles at IBM for 15 years, culminating as Executive Architect for the Banking and Financial Markets division, where Richard led significant projects in financial technology. Richard holds an MA in Mathematics and a Diploma in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge, as well as an MBA in Strategy from the University of Warwick.
