Yuriko Hirota

Yuriko Hirota is a seasoned professional in the field of finance and regulation, currently serving as Lead Policy Analyst in Prudential Regulation and Supervisor for Financial Market Infrastructures at the Bank of England since August 2022. Previously, Yuriko was a Sessional Lecturer at the London School of Business and Research from December 2021 to September 2022 and held the position of University Lecturer at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México in mid-2020. From June 2016 to October 2020, Yuriko directed accounting regulatory development and supervised financial groups and intermediaries at the Comisión Nacional Bancaria y de Valores. Additionally, Yuriko worked as a Senior Associate in Assurance at PwC from August 2010 to May 2016. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Essex and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the Instituto Politécnico Nacional.
