Corey Baker

Corey Baker has 10+ years of experience in enrollment and marketing. In 2021, they began working as the Marketing Director at Bank of Franklin County. From 2019-2021, they worked as a Coach and CrossFit Level 1 Trainer at HomeFront Fitness/CrossFit. At MediaCross, they were the Senior Lead Strategist from 2019-2021, where they managed and supervised several client accounts and directed numerous team members across the accounts service, creative, digital, and development teams, as well as, vendors throughout the process. From 2016-2019, they were the Marketing Manager/Community Engagement Manager at Maryville University of Saint Louis, where they were responsible for the administrative coordination and implementation of marketing and communications campaigns and initiatives, specifically for recruitment marketing. From 2018-2019, they were a Strategic Enrollment Consultant, where they completed high-level communication and event audits, loaded purchase names into CRM, executed all aspects of the campaign, and made recommendations on CRM use. At TargetX from 2016-2018, they were a Project Manager, where they obtained a clear understanding of client business process, needs and requirements, established the project's overall critical path and success factors, and monitored the execution of all deliverables and milestones across projects. From 2007-2016, they were the Associate Director of Admissions, Communication & Campus Visit Programs Manager and Assistant Director for Admissions/Transfer Recruitment at Maryville University, where they designed, implemented, and managed the overall communication plan and targeted campaigns for the admissions office, managed every aspect of the admission events, initiated conversations across campus to foster collaboration opportunities, and determined and fulfilled territory management responsibilities.

Corey Baker attended Maryville University of Saint Louis from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Organizational Leadership. Corey is currently attending Barret School of Banking from 2022 to 2024. Additionally, in March 2019, they obtained a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer certification from CrossFit, Inc.
