Sulkhan Gvalia

Mr Gvalia has extensive experience in banking having worked in a number of senior management roles at the Bank, including Chief Risk Officer (2005-2013) and Head of Corporate Banking (2013-2016). Mr Gvalia previously served as Deputy CEO of TbilUniversalBank, prior to its acquisition by the Bank of Georgia in November 2004. Prior to his recent appointment Mr Gvalia was the founder and CEO of E-Space Limited, Tbilisi – the only Georgian company developing the electric car charging infrastructure in Georgia. He also serves as a non-executive independent director at Inecobank (Armenia) since 2018.

Mr Gvalia received a law degree from Tbilisi State University.
