Shih-Po Chang has over 25 years of work experience in the financial industry. Shih-Po currently serves as Senior Vice President at Bank of Hope, where they collaborate with the Chief Risk Officer to establish and manage the Model Risk Management (MRM) infrastructure. Prior to this, Shih-Po worked at City National Bank as Vice President, CCAR, where they established processes to test risk mitigating controls and managed testing of controls under Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs). Shih-Po also planned model ongoing monitoring activities and provided reports to the MRM team. Shih-Po holds an MBA from UCLA - Anderson School and has a research background as a Research Assistant at UC-Berkeley.

Shih-Po Chang earned an MBA in Finance and Financial Management Services from UCLA Anderson School of Management, from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they obtained a Ph.D. in Structural Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, from 1995 to 2000. Shih-Po Chang also holds a Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certification from the GARP FRM Program, obtained in 2005.
