Bhushan Kumar Sinha

Shri Bhushan Kumar Sinha, was appointed as Government of India Nominee Director in Bank of India from 11.04.2022.

He belongs to the 1993 batch of Indian Economic Service. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the National Graduate School of Management (NGSM), Australian National University, Canberra, Australia and a Ph. D from the Department of Financial Studies, University of Delhi, India.

Presently he is posted as Joint Secretary in the Department of Financial Services (DFS), Ministry of Finance, Government of India, New Delhi. Before joining DFS in 2018, he had a three year stint as Economic Adviser in the Department of Investment and Public Asset Management (DIPAM).

He has served as GOI’s Nominee Director on the Board of Central Bank of India w.e.f 14.05.2018 till 11.04.2022. Besides Bank of India, he is also GoI’s Nominee Director on the Board of Directors of IFCI Ltd.
