Apollon Leontas has extensive experience in credit management, specializing in high-risk and distressed assets within the banking sector. Since November 2009, Apollon has served as the Manager of Credit - High Risk and Distressed Assets at Bank of Ireland, overseeing a small team and managing a diverse portfolio of loans, involving corporate recovery, insolvency, and restructuring strategies. Prior to this role, Apollon held positions from 1996 to 2009 at Bank of Ireland, focusing on corporate recovery and restructuring, along with experience at Equatorial Bank Plc as a Corporate Recovery Manager from 1990 to 1996. Apollon holds multiple qualifications including a BSc in Mathematics and Financial Services from UCL and Alliance Manchester Business School, and diplomas in Banking and Credit Management.
