Brenda Mey

Brenda Mey is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in infrastructure and operations management, currently serving as Principal Architect - Infrastructure at Bank of Ireland since April 2021. Brenda has a strong background in transformational leadership, having led significant changes within Standard Bank Group as Head of Infrastructure and Operations from March 2010 to September 2019, where initiatives included the adoption of Agile methodologies, Hybrid Multi Cloud, and the migration from Mainframe to open technologies. With a proven track record in operational and people leadership, Brenda effectively guided a large team of technology engineers and aligned business strategies with IT infrastructure. Previous roles include Director at Inani Professional IT Services, Manager of Architecture and Solution Design at Barclays, and various consulting positions, complemented by an ongoing pursuit of an Advanced Diploma in Project Management from Cranefield College.
