Kasia Walawska

Kasia Walawska is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in leveraged acquisition finance and transaction management. Since September 2016, Kasia has served as the Director and Head of Transaction Management at Bank of Ireland, focusing on credit investments across diverse European sectors and managing significant financing solutions for Private Equity-backed transactions. Prior to this role, Kasia was a Finance Associate at Ropes & Gray LLP, providing advisory services in leveraged finance, investment grade financing, and portfolio restructuring. Earlier experience includes positions at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP and Allen & Overy, where Kasia honed expertise in leveraged buy-outs and various finance sectors. Educational qualifications include a BA MA in Law from the University of Cambridge, an LLM from King's College London, and completion of the LPC at BPP Law School. Prior roles also include positions at Deutsche Bank and Goldman Sachs.
