Roger Long

Roger Long is an accomplished risk management professional with extensive experience in the banking sector. Currently serving as Director of Retail Risk Management Partners and Head of Retail Business Assurance at Bank of Ireland since August 2016, Roger Long is responsible for overseeing risk management frameworks related to Credit, Compliance, Conduct, and Operational Risk. Previously, Roger Long held the position of Group Head of Operational Risk & Risk Culture at Allied Irish Banks plc, where a transformational plan was implemented to enhance the bank's operational risk profile. Roger Long also managed significant responsibilities in the NAMA Programme at AIB, overseeing the transfer of over €21 billion in loan assets, and has held various finance roles including Head of Group SOX Programme.
