Amiram Barkat

Amiram Barkat has a diverse work experience in various sectors. Amiram is currently serving as the Head of Digital Media at Bank of Israel since 2022. Previously, they worked at Globes for many years, where they held multiple roles such as Head of Fact-Checking unit, Senior Financial Analyst, Senior Reporter, and News Reporter. Amiram'scoverage areas at Globes included macro-economic issues, energy and transportation affairs, renewable energy, and railways. Before that, they worked as a News Reporter at Haaretz, focusing on Jewish world, Israel-Diaspora relations, and Holocaust-related issues.

Amiram Barkat earned a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree with a specialization in Law from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, attending from 1996 to 1999. Later, they pursued a Master of Laws (LLM) degree from the same institute, studying from 2014 to 2016.
