Ran Zion has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Ran began their career at KPMG Israel in 1998 as a Senior Manager, where they worked until June 2001. After this, they moved on to Evergreen Investment House, where they served as a Portfolio Manager from February 2001 to August 2002. Ran then joined the Bank of Israel in July 2003, starting as a Risk Management professional. Ran later became the Foreign Exchange Reserves Investment Manager in September 2012, and eventually rose to the position of Head of the Corporate desk in August 2014. The end dates for their most recent roles at the Bank of Israel were not provided, indicating that they potentially still holds these positions.
Ran Zion obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Economics from Tel Aviv University between 1994 and 1998. Later, from 2001 to 2003, they pursued higher education at the same institution and successfully completed an MBA, specializing in Finance and Strategy.
